Why You Need A Steam Cleaner

Lets talk spring cleaning.

With all the things going on right now, I’ve been taking a good hard look at my home and the quality of clean. I recently purchased a steam cleaner. My hopes were to sanitize my home and using less chemicals. {Cleaning supplies are running low, and I really want the healthcare centers to be able to have access to them.}

Please let me tell you all the reasons you NEED a steam cleaner in your life!

The fabulous thing about steam cleaning is it effectively kills 99% of bacteria, mold, mildew, and germs. This makes steam cleaning an effective, all natural, eco-friendly way of cleaning your home. The best part is all you need is a steam cleaner and high quality H2O {water}.

Benefits of Steam Cleaning

Whole New Level of Clean:

Steam cleaning is an excellent way to kill bacteria, mold, mildew, and germs. These pathogens are know to be some of the most harmful and unwanted visitors in your home. They can cause infections, allergic reactions and respiratory irritation. Steam cleaning allows you to deep clean the porous surfaces in your home and eradicate them without the use of harmful chemicals.

For those of you who have pets, steam cleaners will be your new best friend! They are excellent at eliminating pet odors in carpets, litter boxes, stinky dog beds, and even bird cages. Additionally, the high temperature of the pressurized steam kills fleas, their eggs and larva without the use of toxic chemicals.

Eco-Friendly:

One of my favorite things about steam cleaning is that you simple need a machine and water. This means no need for harsh chemicals that can irritate your eyes, lungs and skin. Steam cleaning is one of the most sanitary and environmentally friendly ways to clean your home.

Steam cleaners are known to clean without leaving harsh residues that can particularly harm your pets and children (that are mostly exposed to the floor and lower surfaces in your home.) Since you’re cleaning without chemicals, there are less chemicals being rinsed down the drain making it more environmentally friendly for all.

Less Expensive The Using Chemicals:

Since steam cleaning eliminates the need to any chemicals, you better start thinking about what to do with all that extra cash. Household chemicals used to clean all the various surfaces in your home are not only harmful to you and your family members, but they’re pricey! TheNest.com reports on average, American’s save up to $800 annually on cleaning supplies.

Oh yeah, and don’t forget to go clean out your linen closets and under your sinks. Now what will you do with all that extra space?

Control and Kill Allergens:

Let’s talk dust mites. Dust mites feels quite at home inside your home in soft surfaces such as pillows, mattresses, couches, and rugs. Within these soft plush environments, dust mites feed off of flakes of dead skin cells from animals and humans. These little guys leave behind their waste which is the main irritant of allergies and trigger for those who have asthma.

The average bed contains millions of these little dust mites and a whole lot of waste! This can lead to poor sleep, and continued allergy and asthma triggers.

Regular cleaning with a steam cleaner as well as vacuuming with a HEPA vacuum will make a significant difference in your homes air quality as well as your family’s health.

I must say I purchased my steam cleaner a few years months ago and it’s truly changed the way I clean my home. I use it on just about every surface and the whole process is very satisfying. Not only visually but economically and environmentally as well.

Here’s a list of things you can clean with your new steam cleaner:

  • Carpets
  • Tile Floors
  • Grout
  • Rugs
  • Countertops
  • Mirrors
  • Doors
  • Baseboards
  • Sealed Floors
  • Handrails
  • Cabinets
  • Windows
  • Window Frames
  • Trash Cans
  • Fridge
  • Microwave
  • Stove Tops
  • Grills
  • Ovens

You can basically use a steam cleaner to clean any working sealed surface. The only surfaces to be careful using steam on are unsealed wood floors as well as laminate flooring. It may cause it to swell and buckle. Always do a small test area first if you are concerned.

I think you will be truly impressed with how easy it is to steam clean almost anything in your home.
